I recently completed the Child Protection refresher and Reflective Practice short course through TrueLearning Australia.I was very impressed with the ease of each course, and took away a lot of knowledge to share with my fellow educators. I found in particular, the reflective practice course very informative and I am confident I can embed the ideas and concepts into my everyday programming and planning as an educator.
I am currently undertaking a Cert 3 to Diploma childcare upgrade through TLA. I feel very happy with my experience so far and although finding the course personally challenging as I haven’t studied for years, I am growing in confidence. Since starting my experience with true learning I have been extremely welcomed by the educators and other staff members. Jen has really supported me through my time and is always hopeful that we can do our best and believes that we can do anything we put our minds to. In saying that, Jen has assisted me throughout my diploma as I am a latecomer to the group. She is very responsive and answers any emails or questions ASAP. Jen has also provided me with a guide through voice calls via zoom and gives guidance on any questions or parts of the assessment. I have been studying with TLA for 3 months and have found them to be very supportive with their online training, with regular contact and emails. They are also good at getting units back with feedback and the marking has a fast turn around allowing me to progress with further units.
