The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is changing!

Changes to the current training package

The Qualification CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is now Superseded. This means that we are slowly transitioning out of this Qualification into delivering the new CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

To be able to study the new Diploma Qualification, a pre-requisite has now been introduced, and it is mandatory for Educators to have completed the current CHC30113 or new CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care before they can enrol and complete the new Diploma.

Educators are still eligible to enrol into the current Diploma CHC50113 NOW and will then be automatically transitioned into the new Qualification once it is available on SCOPE.

How will I receive 2 Qualifications in 1?

By Fast Tracking your studies, you will be awarded your new and updated Certificate 3 followed by an easy transition into your Diploma. This means you will receive not one but two qualifications.

Using our simple and effective RPL Process our Trainers will be able to assess your performance and skills to award you with a whole Qualification. This ensures we are rewarding long term educators with industry experience and prior learning.

What if I already have the Certificate 3 needed for pre requisite?

That's awesome if you do. This means you can enrol now into our Upgrade to Diploma and be granted credit transfers. If you can finish your Upgrade to Diploma CHC50113 by December 2022, you will not need to transition into the new Diploma. But if you do not finish in time, we can transition you via skills gap training into the new Diploma.
